IMG_0016 4x6 Reed Henry is a Gerontologist who specializes in supporting those who care for people with Dementia using a gentle compassionate approach. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and is trained as a Marriage & Family Therapist. “Working with care givers is not an individual process. When someone you love has dementia, the entire family system is affected with each individual member responding in their own unique way. Only someone from outside the system can identify both the strengths and the weaknesses of its members so that the objectives of the entire family can be met.”

Reed lives in Bellingham, Washington with his wife Beth and two children Morgan and Jonathan. He is currently actively involved as a consultant and counselor for a study out of the University of Washington called the Dementia Partnership Project. Reed enjoys writing, public speaking, sports, fishing, hunting, and being with his family.
